This policy explains what personal data VetriPath Academy (“we”) collects through this website and the student portal, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We aim to follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and to collect only what we need to teach you.
We do not collect payment card details on this website and we do not sell personal data.
Your teachers can see the progress and doubts of students in the courses they teach. Administrators can see account and enrolment details to run the academy. Other students cannot see your personal data or results.
We use service providers to run the platform: Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage), Cloudflare (website hosting) and Zoom (live classes). They process data on our instructions and may store it outside India.
Enquiries that do not lead to enrolment are deleted within 12 months. Student records are kept while you are enrolled and for up to 2 years afterwards so you can request your results, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or the law requires us to keep them longer.
You can ask for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and records. You can also withdraw consent for us to contact you. To make a request, contact the academy using the details on the Contact section of our homepage. We will confirm your identity before acting and reply within 30 days.
Our courses are meant for candidates who are eligible for government recruitment. If a student is under 18, we need the consent of a parent or guardian before creating their account.
Access to student data is restricted by role and enforced in the database. Passwords are handled by our sign-in provider and are never visible to us. No method of storage is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private and tell us immediately if you think your account has been misused.
If we change this policy we will update the date above and tell enrolled students about significant changes.
